  13. plays by third baseman Ken Keltner kept
  14. Joe from recording a hit. However, Joe
  15. remained hot. He hit safely in the next 16
  16. games, making his streak 72 out of 73
  17. games. Joe finished the season with a
  18. .357 average, 30 home runs, and 125
  19. runs batted in.
